Check out the latest report from the Rolling Stone about Neverender. Some information was given about the upcoming prequel album, here is a snippet.
By the end, Sanchez was already looking to the future, admitting he had already written five songs for the band’s next album in his home library — a faux studio that has natural sunlight (”a big theme on the record,” Sanchez says cryptically) streaming in all day.
“We got three other places to go,” Stever announced to the crowd at the end of the final night, referring to upcoming Neverender dates in Chicago, Los Angeles and London. “But fucking New York man — it’s gonna be hard to top.”
A bulletin from the band:
About 40 tickets each night have been released for you to purchase.

Halloween, our favorite holiday at Cobalt and Calcium, is soon approaching! To help celebrate this ghoulish day we are going to host a contest in which you can show off your pumpkin carving skills and we will reward the winner with a “bloody” fabulous prize! All that is required is a pumpkin, a sharp knife, and some creativity.
THE PRIZE:
One Prize [1] winner will receive the following:
*One “Bloody Variant” Kill Audio Doll autographed by Claudio Sanchez. For more information on Kill Audio please see Kill-Audio.com
*Recognition throughout the Coheed and Cambria Community for being a bad ass with a knife.
*All entries will receive special mention on our front page.
THE RULES:
This is a pumpkin carving contest. The theme: NEVERENDER, KILL AUDIO or DAVENPORT CABINET.
Entries will be judged on concept and execution (skill of you carving or painting). You may only enter the contest once. Please submit your photos in this thread. The contest starts TODAY, Friday October 24, 2008 and ends on Friday October 31, 2008 at 11:45PM MST. No entries will be allowed after this time, as the thread will be locked at exactly 11:45 PM MST on October 31!
The winner will be notified through a private message from me on November 1st.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
Pumpkins spoil extremely quickly once you give them the knife. Take your pictures as soon as you can after you have completed. Practice your flash photography. Your pumpkin could look fantastic in the dark, but using too much flash will set you up for disaster and ruin the appearance.
Pumpkins are usually lit with a candle, however you may use any light source to get the effect you desire. Red bulbs, black lights, you name it.
Have a happy and safe Halloween!
