Thanks again to everyone who sent in footage of themselves for the nostalgia in stereo video. We are in the process of editing and putting together one of the most interesting projects I have ever been a part of. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. I put up a couple of songs I made 2 or 3 years ago that I have put up and taken down through out the past few years. They are very rough but I feel like they have some things about them that give reason to wanting to share them. I tried to make them downloadable but there is always an issue with that. I hope you enjoy and please keep in mind they are rough as shit and very old.

What album do you think you’ll enjoy playing the most?
Right now I’m really enjoying Good Apollo One. It’s between that and In Keeping because those are albums where it’s gonna be really cool to watch how the crowd reacts to seeing them live. I’m really excited about all of the albums, but those two have been fun to tackle. I think that to go through it as flawless as possible will be? well, rewarding sounds stupid, but I’ll be really excited to have it come across the way we had been playing it in rehearsal. I guess rewarding is not a bad thing.
What a great couple weeks this has been with Neverender coming out! Thanks for all your kind words, it seems like for the most part everyone seems really happy with it, and I can’t tell you how relieved and excited we are about that.
Also, as many of you know, I have a solo project called Davenport Cabinet. I really wanted all of you out there to help with the new DC video for the song “Nostalgia in Stereo.” So many of you received our recent request to video tape yourselves smashing stereos, to be used in the vid. Well, we now have like 40 epic smashing moments, and I want to thank you personally for sending those to me.
The footage was so awesome, we want to do the same for the next part of the vid – which is the singing-along-part. I will tape myself singing the song, but I also wanted to get as many of you out there that wanted to send in video of your self singing along, to do so too. So please be in my video.
Here is what you need to do!
1. Get some headphones.
Prefer that you use “retro” headphones – like the ones on this DC shirt ( http://new.merchnow.com/products/93623) – if you don’t have those kind, that’s fine too 2.Videotape yourself Lip-syncing the song – (Sing one hell of a performance!) in a environment of your choice. But the more interesting, the more likely it will be used. During a baseball game, in the park, on the street, in a river, wherever you think would be cool. 3. Send it to me.
