This little beauty above is called Bertie, World War Robot (the Dirty Deeds edition.) We were one of 6 winners chosen in a blind lottery to purchase a piece at this year’s New York Comic Con. What’s so great about a toy that it would have to be raffled just for the chance to buy it, you might say? Well, allow us to explain.

Just realized we forgot to mention the artist involved with Kill Audio.
The talented Aussie, Sheldon Vella is the artist behind the comic. Sheldon is a champ at putting our sometimes, uh, “ambitious” ideas into the chaotic and warped world of Kill Audio. The characters, settings…it’s all looking so awesome. Can’t wait for you guys to see it.
We promise you won’t be disappointed with the work he churns out.
Head on over to Myspace to hear a remixed version of “Feathers”. The remix was done by a friend of the band edIT, you can find out more about him on his page, www.myspace.com/edit

Thank you to everybody who got a chance to stop by New York Comic Con this weekend to check out the newest addition to the Evil Ink family–The bouncing baby Kill Audio. For those of you who couldn’t make it, here is a little update:
Kill Audio is a brand new story that will be featured here in comic strips, as well as various print locations, including a portion of the miniseries in the next issue of Popgun from Image Comics. Take the first 12 strips to get to know Kill Audio as he, well, gets to know himself.
We also debuted the second part of this new story, 7″ vinyl figures of Kill Audio himself! It is the first piece from Evil Ink, in conjunction with our new toy company, VinylCut,. We are very proud of the little bastard;) As you can see from the pictures in our photo section, he comes in greyscale as well as a limited bloody variant, each with removable weapons so you can kill him yourself. He will be available starting in July 2008, with a secret limited variant debuting at San Diego Comic Con, but keep checking back to hear updates about retailers in your area who will have their hands on him as well.
So as you can see things have been busy so far this year. You can look forward to lots of news, info and rampant blogs about what’s going on in these parts. Hopefully we will see a lot of you at San Diego Comic Con this year. Feel free to drop us a line on here and let us know what you think of Kill Audio or just about anything else you feel like gabbing about.

Earth Day 2008 is TODAY and to celebrate, Music for Relief and Unite the United are launching the ROCK, ROLL & RECYCLE EARTH DAY AUCTION. We’ve donated some signed items, so head over to the auctions and start bidding for this great cause!
“In the past four years the planet has been hit with severe natural disasters such as hurricanes, tsunamis, cyclones, flooding, and raging wildfires. Communities in Southeast Asia, India, Southern California and the Gulf Coast have been leveled, and millions of people have lost their homes, crops, and livelihoods. Thinning resources coupled with the increasing frequency of these catastrophic events make recovery efforts difficult. Scientific research has shown that the severity of these natural disasters is increasing partially due to rising global temperatures caused by human activity, particularly our waste habits. HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS EARTH DAY 2008, support Music for Relief and Unite the United by participating in the auction, making a donation, or recycling what you come up with during your own spring cleaning!”
