Cobalt and Calcium has such a sweet surprise for all of you today! Our very own Nathan and Neesh headed on over to CBGBs in Manhattan to interview Weerd Science‘s Josh Eppard and the rest of the guys. If you don’t know who Weerd Science is by now, you’re simply lost in translation. Weerd Science is a major project that the drummer of Coheed and Cambria is working on, and it’s doing extremely well with the help of Kwame, iLL, and Wavis.

Nathan and Neesh not only interviewed Weerd Science, but were also allowed to shoot the entire show which was done at CBGB’s on May 22nd. Our media section has now been split up into two sections, as Weerd Science needs it’s own little sub-section now.

Nathan has also released his Coheed and Cambria essay that he submitted for a grade at NYU, and we were fortunate enough for him to share it with us. This has now been archived in the about section of the website.

Neesh has also stumbled over this huge ass box of Cobalt and Calcium shirts today, and is shipping them off to me through Fed-ex and I should receive them by this Thursday or Friday. I will be writing out the labels and packaging them over the weekend to get them sent out to everyone on Monday.

We weren’t the only ones busy planning this huge update, Emilio Buonanni has been tabbing it up for the past five hours and finally we are able to present you with “Time Consumer” for all of our drummers out there!

All in all, I am very impressed with everyone who made all of this happen. Nathan and Neesh did an excellent job, and I’d like to thank Josh and his super posse of awesomeness for a lovely interview, as well as Emilio for tabbing out “Time Consumer”.

Hey everyone! We’re just waiting on the company to give us the green light to have Neesh pick up our shirts! They said they had back ordered YM/YL sizes, so it seems like we’re just waiting on those. I believe we should have the shirts to send out to everyone who ordered by the end of the month.

I’ll inform everyone when we have sent out all of the shirts, which won’t be long at all!

I’ve busted my ass over the past two days to revamp the site. To the side you will see two icons, an earth and a dragonfly: clicking them will allow you to change the style of this site to match your favorite album’s theme.

The scheduled release date is July 27, 2005.  Remember, locate your local comic book stores and find out if they have ordered the comic.  If they have not, ask them to.  Just give them the order number (MAY05 2736) and let them know it is from Diamond Distribution under “Evil Ink” (Claudio’s Company).

I have just added the show at Leeds Festival that occured on August 29th, 2004. This audio set was recorded but never distributed anywhere on the internet until now. You can download it by going to the audio portion of the site, all thanks to Dan!

Cobalt And Calcium’s and Kyle’s Coheed and Cambria Tablature have crashed into each other and painted a chaotic and beautiful mess together!
